The Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (CNETS) India was established in 2013 by a group of healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing the field of neuroendocrine tumor (NET) disease management.
We have both professional and patient advocacy wings to connect with both NET specialists as well as patients in the Indian subcontinent.
We take our name from the already established Carcinoid-NeuroEndocrine Tumour Societies of Canada and Singapore.
The primary focus of the CNETS India is to establish an online helpline and resource for patients and caregivers all over India and South East Asia for medical advice on NETs. The society also serves as a forum for patients, carers and family members of NET patients who need a support network to meet others who have had similar experiences and can provide reassurance and support.
Our mission as a professional group is to improve neuroendocrine tumor management through increased research and educational opportunities.
